MS Dhoni has announced his retirement From Indian cricket

Former captain of Indian cricket team MS Dhoni has announced his retirement from international cricket. Dhoni confirmed this via a video on Instagram, reading its caption: “Thank you. Thank you very much for your love and support. Consider me retired since 1929. “
Dhoni retired as the most successful limited overs international captain of Indian cricket, winning three ICC Trophies – 2007 T20 World Cup, 50 Over World Cup 2011 and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. He last played international cricket during the semi-finals of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup where India lost to New Zealand.
After announcing his retirement from Test cricket in early 2015, Dhoni played one-day and T20 matches for the next five years and led India to the semi-finals of the 2015 World Cup and 2016 World T20.
